Annotation

This is a Czech language course for foreigners at level A2.

Course structure:

Lessons 1-3: getting to know each other - verbs and their conjugation, vocabulary, listening, speaking - various topics, practical phrases, at the doctor's, in a restaurant

Lessons 4-6: vid, future tense, plural, past tense, prepositions, conversation, practical exercises, situations, speaking, listening, at the post office, at the bank, at school, at the study department, famous Czechs

Lessons 7-9: reading, realities, speaking, grammar- personal pronouns in pairs, listening, conversation practice, travel, accommodation, booking, weather

Lessons 10-12: grammar - modal verbs, realia - culture, history, various topics, speaking , listening, holidays, police

Students participate in lesson design, ask questions, discuss things that give them problems in the language, focus part of the lesson on them, explain.

Teaching aids

All study materials will be sent in pdf format. The lecturer uses the textbook "Czech for Foreigners A1-A2" by Kestřánková, Štěpánková, Vodičková. Learners can purchase, however, it is not necessary.
