Annotation

This is a Czech language course for foreigners at level A1. The course is designed for complete beginners.

Course structure:

Block 1: Getting to know each other - basic phrases (grammar: personal pronouns; verb to be and to have)

Block 2-4: Places; where what is; numbers up to 1000; food and drink (grammar: grammatical gender; verb tenses in the present tense)

Blocks 5-7: Family; daily routines; temporal expressions (grammar: possessive pronouns; accusative singular; modal verbs, like and be like)

Block 8-10: Country, nationalities; house and apartment (grammar: past tense; locative singular)

Block 11-12: Planning a weekend; leisure activities (grammar: future tense)

Teaching aids

Textbook: Lída Holá - Czech step by step 1 (English version) - students will buy themselves, other materials will be copied.
