Annotation

This is a Czech language for foreigners course at B1 level.

Course structure:

Lessons 1-3: getting to know each other - more complex conversational turns of phrase, grammar - future tense, plural, vocabulary, listening, speaking - family, wedding, Czech folk customs

Lessons 4-6: grammar - past tense, conditional, speaking, listening, realia, films, fashion

Lessons 7-9: grammar - imperative, direct and indirect speech, reading, realia, listening, conversation practice

Lessons 10-12: grammar - numerals, subject-verb agreement, past tense speaking - various topics , listening, reading, audition and employment, biography, health and illness

Students participate in lesson development, ask questions, discuss things that give them problems in the language, we can focus part of the lesson on them and explain.

Teaching aids

All teaching materials will be sent in pdf format. The lecturer uses the textbook "Czech for Foreigners B1" - Marie Kestřánková, Šnaidaufová, Kokicová. Learners can purchase, it is not necessary.
